Maintenance
For larger
properties or groups of properties, particularly our
reports provide estimated costs for repairs, repairs
needed in the next 2-5 years, repairs needed in the
next 5-10 years and for longer term projected remedial
works. Typically we will carry out comprehensive 25
year maintenance surveys.
The services we offer range from drawing up specifications
for external repairs on blocks of flats to preparing
and administering 25 year planned maintenance programmes
on historic colleges.
We have been advising the College of Law, Guildford
in respect of the maintenance of all the buildings
on their site. Our annual inspections and reports
enable the College to plan for the future.
Managing
Maintenance Contracts, we will:
assess
what works need doing
prepare specifications detailing the work
obtain detailed tenders from suitable contractors
manage the contractors through the works
provide valuations and financial statements during
the work
prepare and agree final accounts
